Ingredients:

  • 16 ounces Ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups chopped fresh spinach
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • A pinch or two of salt and pepper
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic (pressed or finely minced)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • 20 ready-to-stuff Cannelloni noodles
  • 2 (13 fluid ounce) jars of marinara sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese

Note: Measurements provided in both grams and lb are available upon request.

Directions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a 9-inch by 13-inch rectangular casserole dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine ricotta, egg, spinach, basil, salt, pepper, garlic, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese. Mix until well combined.
  3. Using a piping bag or a cut-tip plastic bag, fill each Cannelloni noodle with the ricotta mixture.
  4. Spread one-third of the marinara sauce at the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange the filled Cannelloni noodles and top with the remaining marinara sauce.
  5. Sprinkle an even layer of mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses on top.
  6. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees Fahrenheit for 25 to 30 minutes.
  7. Serve immediately and savor the cheesy goodness!
