Ingredients:

  • 454 grams (1 lb) pork loin, thinly sliced
  • Marinade:
    • 120 milliliters (1/2 cup) gochujang
    • 5 cloves garlic, minced
    • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
    • 1 small onion, grated
    • 1 pear, grated
    • 1 Fuji apple, grated
    • 120 milliliters (1/2 cup) soy sauce
    • 15 milliliters (1 tablespoon) sesame oil
    • 15 milliliters (1 tablespoon) sugar
    • 80 grams (1/3 cup) chopped green onion
    • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • Bowls:
    • 454 grams (1 lb) package rice noodles, prepared according to package directions
    • 2-3 cups cooked white rice
    • Sriracha Mayo
    • Teriyaki Sauce
    • White sesame seeds
    • Green onions, sliced

Directions:

  1. Place the sliced pork loin in a large ziplock bag.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together all the marinade ingredients until well combined. Pour the marinade over the pork in the ziplock bag, seal, and mix to coat the pork evenly.
  3. Refrigerate the marinated pork for at least 6-8 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  4. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated pork and cook until tender and cooked through.
  5. To assemble the bowls, add a desired amount of cooked white rice to the bottom of each serving dish.
