    • 2.5 milliliters (1/2 teaspoon) pure vanilla extract
  • Optional Candy Topping:
    • 160 grams (1 cup) Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, chopped (optional)

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the Cake Batter

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 10 to 12 cup Bundt pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, instant chocolate pudding mix, sour cream, vegetable oil, water, coffee, and vanilla extract. Use a hand mixer to mix on medium speed for 2 to 3 minutes until well combined.
  3. Transfer the batter to the prepared Bundt pan and spread it evenly. Step 2: Bake the Cake
  4. Bake the cake in the preheated oven for 40 to 50 minutes or until a wooden skewer inserted into the center comes out clean.
  5. Remove the cake from the oven and allow it to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before inverting it onto a cooling rack. Let the cake cool completely before frosting. Step 3: Make the Ganache
  6. Place the chocolate chips in a small, heat-safe bowl.
  7. Heat the heavy cream in the microwave or a small saucepan until it begins to simmer, but do not let it boil.
  8. Pour the hot heavy cream over the chocolate chips and let it sit for 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  9. Stir the chocolate chips until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Drizzle the ganache over the cooled cake. Step 4: Prepare the Peanut Butter Sauce
  10. In a small bowl, combine the creamy peanut butter, sweetened condensed milk, water, and vanilla extract.
  11. Microwave the mixture for 1 to 2 minutes, stirring every 15 to 20 seconds, until it is well combined and creamy.
  12. Drizzle the peanut butter sauce over the chocolate ganache. Step 5: Optional Candy Topping
  13. Sprinkle the chopped Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups over the chocolate ganache and peanut butter sauce. Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
  14. Slice the cake and serve. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in a sealed container.

Notes:

  • For a smoother consistency, you can adjust the amount of heavy cream in the ganache to reach your desired thickness.
  • Feel free to customize the cake by adding chopped nuts or chocolate shavings to the batter for extra texture and flavor.
