  • ¾ cup (150g or 5.3 oz) brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (2.6g or 0.09 oz) cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon (0.65g or 0.02 oz) nutmeg
  • 2 teaspoons (10ml or 0.34 fl oz) vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (240ml or 8 fl oz) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (240ml or 8 fl oz) milk
  • 1 loaf (450g or 1 lb) French bread, cut into 1-inch cubes

Garnish:

  • Powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C).
  2. Prepare the Glaze: In a medium saucepan over medium-high heat, melt the butter. Stir in the brown sugar, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Bring to a simmer and add the sliced bananas. Cook for a few minutes until the bananas are coated and the mixture is slightly thickened.
