  • 10 milliliters (2 teaspoons) vanilla extract
  • 2 medium Granny Smith apples, peeled, cored, and finely diced

Topping

  • 90 grams (0.75 cup) all-purpose flour
  • 150 grams (0.75 cup) packed light brown sugar
  • 120 grams (1 cup) chopped pecans
  • 2.5 grams (0.5 teaspoon) ground cinnamon
  • 1.25 grams (0.25 teaspoon) salt
  • 113 grams (0.5 cup) butter, melted

Glaze

  • 120 grams (0.67 cup) packed light brown sugar
  • 30 milliliters (2 tablespoons) apple cider
  • 28 grams (2 tablespoons) butter

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and sugar.
  3. Stir in the melted butter, sour cream, eggs, and vanilla extract until the mixture is smooth. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
