Seeking to impress our guests with something unique, we decided to put a twist on the classic seven-layer dip by incorporating our favorite pizza toppings. The result was a resounding success! Ingredients:

  • 2 cups ricotta cheese (about 450g)
  • 2 tbsp. chopped fresh Italian parsley
  • 1 cup marinara sauce, warmed (about 240g)
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup chopped pepperoncini peppers
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced black olives
  • 10 oz. low moisture mozzarella cheese, sliced (about 280g)
  • 1 cup mini pepperoni slices
  • 1 tbsp. thinly sliced fresh basil
  • Toasted baguette slices for serving

Directions: Step 1: Preheat broiler to medium. Grease a 9-x-9-inch baking dish with cooking spray. Step 2: Spread ricotta into an even layer on the bottom of the baking dish. Sprinkle chopped parsley over the ricotta, then spread a thin layer of warmed marinara sauce over the herbs. Step 3: Top with single layers of Parmesan cheese, chopped pepperoncini peppers, sliced black olives, low moisture mozzarella slices, and mini pepperoni slices. Step 4: Broil until the cheese has melted and the top is bubbly and golden brown. Step 5: Garnish with thinly sliced fresh basil and serve warm with toasted baguette slices.
