Ingredients:

  • 340 grams (12 oz) Frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 170 grams (6 oz) Cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 55 grams (1/2 cup) Grated parmesan cheese
  • 113 grams (1 cup) Grated cheddar OR mozzarella cheese, separated
  • 1 tube refrigerated thin crust pizza crust (at least 340 grams/12 oz)
  • 28 grams (2 tablespoons) Butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon Garlic salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the thawed and squeezed dry spinach with softened cream cheese until well combined.
  3. Add minced garlic, salt, onion powder, chili powder, pepper, and Italian seasoning to the spinach mixture and mix thoroughly.
  4. Stir in parmesan cheese and half of the grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese.
  5. Unroll the pizza crust onto a sheet of parchment paper. Use a pizza cutter to shape it into one larger triangle and two smaller triangles.
  6. Place the smaller triangles on a separate parchment paper, with their straight edges touching, creating a second triangle of dough.
  7. Spread the spinach dip mixture evenly across one of the dough triangles and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
  8. Carefully flip the other dough triangle on top of the spinach dip-covered triangle, creating layers of dough with the filling sandwiched between them.
  9. Make cuts from near the center out to the sides on both the left and right sides, leaving about an inch in the center intact, creating slices.
  10. Twist each “slice” upwards, with shorter twists at the top and longer twists at the bottom.
  11. Bake for about 22 minutes until golden brown on top and cooked through.
  12. In a small saucepan, melt butter and stir in Italian seasoning and garlic salt. Brush the mixture over the baked breadsticks.
  13. Serve warm and enjoy the festive flavors!

Notes: For a gooey, cheesy texture, consider using mozzarella cheese in the filling. Feel free to adjust the seasoning according to your taste preferences. These breadsticks are best enjoyed fresh out of the oven but can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator and reheated before serving.
